My People’s Market Kicks Off the Summer Event Season - June 3-4

Shop an indoor/ outdoor market in Portland’s Central City
My People’s Market kicks off the summer on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4 at The Redd, 831 SE Salmon Street in the heart of the Central Eastside. The unique shopping opportunity features more than 100 local BIPOC makers, merchants, artists, and crafters, offering an array of products, from apparel and accessories for both adults and children to books, stationery, art, home goods, and skincare.

Do you have a beard? Freshen up your looks and swing by National Beard League for inspiration and solutions. Pamper your skin by checking out Essance, where owner Jasmine Tran shares her ancient secrets to raw beauty, or stop by Day Bibb at Helen Rose Skin Care for ultra-moisturizing skincare with mood-supporting benefits.

Nice weather means it’s the start of BBQ season. Fill your pantry at the market with staples from Koa Roots and Plant Bomb - every bottle overflows with only the purest, cleanest, plant-based essential ingredients to make every mouthful of your food an explosion of flavor. The Barreled Bee brings all the goodness of barrel aging to honey. And of course, every occasion is a celebration with Felton and Mary’s Smokey Brown Sugar B.B.Q. Sauce.
If you’re sprucing up your home, consider adding a unique one-of-a-kind statement rug or tapestry from Nomadic Vintage PDX.
Discover fun for all ages
Plenty of fun is tucked in throughout the market offering an immersive experience, including activities like paint and sip, natural textile dyeing, children's crafts, and schoolyard games.
