Portland Spirit, the company that brought you brunch on a boat and three-course dinner cruises on the Willamette River, is expanding its offerings to include two different cruises on its Explorer Jetboat — the Bigfoot Adventure Cruise and the 7 Wonders of the Gorge cruise.

The Bigfoot Adventure Cruise, which first debuted in 2019, runs at 9 am every day of the week except Tuesday, from July - September. It features narration recorded by Cliff Barackman (star of Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot"), made exclusively for this cruise, and a live tour guide to describe local sightings of Sasquatch, history, and evidence of the presence of Bigfoot in the Northwest. This cruise is a must for anyone interested in the elusive Sasquatch.

If Bigfoot isn't your thing, then the new 7 Wonders of the Gorge cruise is for you. This round-trip cruise on the Explorer Jetboat offers breathtaking views of the natural wonders in the area, some only visible by water. The live tour guide will provide fascinating information about the formation of the Columbia River Gorge and its wonders, including Cape Horn, Multnomah Falls, Crown Point, Rooster Rock, Beacon Rock, Mount Hood, and of course, the Columbia River itself.

With room for 35 explorers on every tour, the 7 Wonders of the Gorge cruise is perfect for active travelers and adventure seekers who want to experience the natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge in a new and unique way.

The 7 Wonders of the Gorge cruise is offered at 2 pm every day of the week except Tuesday in July - September on the Explorer Jetboat.

Traveling at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour, the Explorer Jetboat will take you on an 80-mile round-trip journey on the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. Bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy while taking in the stunning views of the Columbia River Gorge. With padded benches and roll-up windows in the interior of the vessel, you won't miss any of the action as you pass under several bridges and catch bald eagles flying overhead. And if you're feeling daring, head to the open deck at the back and feel the wind in your hair as you soak up the sunshine and take in the scenery.

Tickets for either 3 1⁄2 hour adventure start at $64 for adults and $56 for children up to age 12. Book your Explorer Jetboat tickets on Portland Spirit’s website and prepare yourself for an Instagram-worthy adventure in your own backyard.
