Dr. Mulcaster is the clinic’s first partner-owner to become CEO, the first doctor in more than 50 years to step into the position, and the first woman to serve as CEO in the clinic’s 103-year history.

Dr. Mulcaster exemplifies women in leadership and practice at the clinic. Prior to being named CEO in May, she served as the clinic’s chief medical officer for four years while also running a busy gynecology practice. As a gynecologist, she has served Portland women for more than 16 years and has been named a Top Doctor by Portland Monthly multiple times. 

“I am constantly amazed by the capability of the women around me,” says Dr. Mulcaster. “Through listening to women’s stories – in the exam room, among my colleagues and in the community – I’ve learned there are no limits to what women can do.”

As CEO, she adds, “I am honored, excited and well-prepared to take on this role. And as a physician myself, I remain committed to making sure that our patients have the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their health.”
