Fall into the Season With Ease-Filled Shopping & Community Vibes
Just ahead of its 20th anniversary next year, Bridgeport Village has energized its environment with a multi-million-dollar refresh to keep its outdoor fashion and lifestyle center vibrant and inviting, while adding new perks to enhance any visitor's experience. The bustling community hub is now even more all-weather-friendly, with property additions like warming fire tables and overhead canopies with remote control-powered screens that can lower to block out the wind and the rain. The premier lifestyle setting continues to attract desirable brands, too — from the PNW and beyond — that promise to make any shopping trip a true delight, as we head into the gift-giving season and load up on cozy clothing and home goods for ourselves.
Since the refresh, the center has become more of a community gathering space; this summer saw families enjoying live music in the park-like Village Green, as kids twirled on spinners and groups of friends convened around communal picnic tables. Rotating events like Yoga on the Village Green and EV Car displays keep things fresh, while consistent offerings range from a children’s nature-themed play area and complimentary rubber duck giveaways for younger visitors to weekly storytimes at Barnes & Noble and a state-of-the-art Regal IMAX Theatre. Look out for seasonal events this fall as well, like a celebratory Sip & Shop fundraiser that will benefit a local children’s charity and feature area wineries.
Exciting Bridgeport openings this season include Kona Grill, with its first West Coast restaurant, though it’s already well-known in cities like Las Vegas, Denver, and Baltimore. Loyal fans flock here for the upscale American fare freshly prepared in a scratch kitchen, award-winning sushi, and modern bar (with two happy hours), plus enticing draws like a weekend brunch with mimosa specials and a raved-about carrot cake finale. Then there's the coveted athleisure brand Vuori, whose opening here — its first in this state — created quite the buzz for those already in the know.
Here shoppers can find sought-after national brands as well as local favorites like Tender Loving Empire, Straightaway Cocktails, and Dennis’ 7 Dees Urban Plant Shop - showcasing beloved brands from talented regional artisans, quality craft cocktails, and the finest indoor foliage and flowers. Some popular retailers, like gorjana and Marine Layer, also have downtown outposts. Yet Bridgeport Village offers an ease-filled alternative to urban shopping, located just a short drive outside of town and with easy access off I-5. The property also has plenty of free parking, both covered and uncovered.
While here, load up on fall fashions at stores like Anthropologie, Johnny Was, and Madewell Men’s, now joining Madewell with its own storefront. Get prepped for autumnal hikes with a visit to Cotopaxi, or find the perfect accessory for work and travel at the female-founded TAH Bags luxury pop-up. Ready your home to welcome guests with hygge-fueled vibes by visiting Oregon’s only Crate & Barrel or a new, locally-owned, candle studio, where you can mix your own scents for aromatic take-home creations.
There’s also great news for regional dog lovers. The pup-friendly center invites furry friends into nearly 50 restaurants and stores. Pet owners will find bowls propped outside many businesses, and rumor has it the security team often has treats stashed in their pockets, too. Property planners were very conscientious of weather patterns, too, so expect to find containers of loaner umbrellas available throughout the property for shoppers to use during their stay.

True to its Oregon setting, Bridgeport stays green-minded with amenities that take care of the community and natural environment, like water bottle refilling stations, two on-site honeybee hives, and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The free stations are located in the parking area between California Pizza Kitchen and Pastini, plus on the first level of the parking structure. Naturally, restaurants here follow regional policy on composting food waste, working to keep food scraps out of landfills.
No matter your motive for landing at Bridgeport Village to begin with, we predict that — once you arrive — you may want to linger just a little longer than planned.
