Summer on the Farm
Summer in the Pacific Northwest is unlike any other in the world. The sun is shining, the days are long and allow for more adventure, and vibrant colors abound. There are many outdoor destinations across Oregon that beckon people to venture out and revel in the unmatched scenery of the state, and Topaz Farm is just waiting to be explored.
The family-owned and operated 130-acre working farm allows visitors young and old alike to immerse themselves in the beauty of summer. Besides having a large farm market, no-spray U-pick berries, U-cut flowers, farm animals, and an on-site grill and bar, there are a variety of unique experiences that connect people with agriculture in a memorable way.
"Sauvie Island is magic,” shared Kat Topaz, co-owner of Topaz Farm. “It's the perfect way to relax and go home recharged.”
Live Music Under the Stars
This year’s Americana Harvest Fest offers a one-of-a-kind setting for live music with both local and touring artists. With both adults-only and all-age shows available, there is something for everyone. Throughout July, music enthusiasts can enjoy performances from Blind Pilot & John Craigie, Mon Rovia, The SteelDrivers, Blitzen Trapper, The Milk Carton Kids, and more. In August, enjoy tunes from Fruition, Horse Feathers, and Ural Thomas & The Pain. For more information and to purchase tickets to select shows in advance here.
Unforgettable Cuisine
Seated under a 500-year-old oak tree, guests enjoy a five-course culinary experience from Michelin-starred chefs, including resident chefs Christian and Janelle Ephrem. The truly farm-to-plate dinner is planned just days in advance and showcases no-spray produce that’s often harvested just hours before the dinner from the surrounding fields.
June farm-to-plate dinners feature a season-opening celebration, a Father’s Day picnic, a summer solstice dinner, and an early summer harvest event. In July, foodies can enjoy a summer blossoms dinner, a beneath the oak tree dinner, or the mid-summer harvest celebration. In August, there is a vegetarian meal planned, a dinner that features the bounty of Sauvie Island, a late summer harvest event, and a farm-to-plate dinner that celebrates the harvest moon. Heading into September, Topaz Farm will feature a Fort George Brewers dinner, an early autumn harvest, and then close out the series with an end-of-season celebration.

Exciting Events
Topaz Farm has the largest and longest-running Sunflower Festival in the Portland area, featuring more than 10 acres of fields and mazes. In addition to U-cut sunflowers, there are several fun ‘sunflowers after hours’ events. Mid-week, visitors can enjoy after-hours “Sip &” events that feature fun classes and workshops. There are also three silent reading party events offered, and on Sunday mornings, there are a limited number of ‘Sip & Clip’ tickets available that includes access to the U-cut flowers and ‘farmimosas.’
For kids, there are plenty of animals to see, multiple farm play areas to enjoy, and many free, weekday experiences that include Animal Talk with Farmer Kat, Tractor Talk with Farmer Jim, and Storytime with Keely.

“We grow more than just food—we make memories,” said Jim Abeles, co-owner of the farm. “Whether you're here to relax with your family, enjoy an evening of live music, or eat great food, we've got you covered this summer."
