Ring in the Coastal Cheer:
As the summer crowds thin and the salty air turns crisp, Seabrook transforms into a cozy coastal haven alive with seasonal charm, events, and activities perfect for making memories and family traditions.
Get Outside
Outdoor adventurists and nature lovers will find nearly 400 acres of Seabrook’s coastal forest connected to 600 acres of public land. The town boasts 22 parks and offers year-round direct access to surfing, paddleboarding, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and miles of wide-open beach.
Razor clam digging - People come from across the state and country for the opportunity to harvest fresh clams right off the beach. The Pacific razor clam is fast and slippery, burrowing quickly — so a challenge to catch. Digging for them is fun, interactive, family-friendly, and low-cost. The meaty, sweet, and tender clams are perfect for chowders, clam strips, fritters, and pastas.
Mushroom Foraging - The forest floor in and around Seabrook transforms into a playground of treasured finds for mushroom-hunting foodies during the fall. Hikers searching for gourmet edible mushrooms will find several varieties including fresh porcini/boletes, Lobster, and golden-brown chanterelles.
Glass float finding - Another favorite PNW beach activity is searching for - and finding - Japanese glass fishing floats. Early evidence of glass floats being used by fishermen comes from Norway in 1844, and today those remaining in the ocean are stuck in a circular pattern of currents in the North Pacific.
Fall and winter bring stronger surf and higher tides to the Washington coast that can result in lucky beachcombers taking one home.
Mountain Biking - The town offers a growing network of maintained off-road tracks that operate year-round, including the family-friendly Narnia Trail
(a smooth, green-rated loop through forested terrain) and the more adventurous Mike-O-Rama route, which offers steeper climbs and rewarding views.
The trails link into logging roads and Department of Natural Resources corridors, giving riders the option to extend ventures into more remote, wild sections when weather allows.
Stay Cozy Indoors
Get Your Game On - Tucked along Seabrook’s lively Front Street, The Arcade is a nostalgic nod to seaside fun, where families and friends gather for friendly competition. Bright lights, vintage games, and modern favorites fill the space, offering everything from pinball and air hockey to claw machines and racing simulators.
Do Some Shopping - Seabrook’s retail scene blends chic seaside charm with curated goods and thoughtful local flavor. You’ll find boutiques showcasing men’s and women’s apparel, unique gifts, and home décor. Toy lovers delight in Brooklets Toys, while bookworms can browse the shelves at Joie Des Livres.
Make a Candle – Lorraine’s Candle Shop keeps guests warm and dry while they create their own custom candle. Pick from dozens of fragrances, choose a vessel, and blend something that’s unique. Whether you’re stopping in with friends, planning a date night, or hosting a private event, it’s a fun, hands-on experience for all ages.
Eat, Drink, and be Merry - Seabrook is home to some of the state’s most celebrated restaurants, as well as an expansive wine bar, bakery, and a classic ice cream and candy shop. Fresh Foods Market is located in the town center and offers an expansive array of meats, seafood, produce, grab and go items, and drinks at affordable prices.
