Where Kids Discover Confidence Through Theater
At Portland Drama Club, kids don’t just learn about theater, they experience it. Our summer camps give students in grades K–12 the chance to step into the world of musical theater while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork along the way. Participants rehearse scenes, learn choreography, practice songs, and build characters as they work together toward a final show for family and friends. Kids leave camp with new friends, new skills, and a newfound belief in themselves.
Each day combines focused rehearsal with imaginative theater games, movement exercises, and creative play. Our experienced instructors create a supportive environment where kids feel safe to try new things, be silly, and take creative risks. Theater teaches life skills: teamwork, empathy, listening, focus, and the confidence to express ideas and emotions. Students discover how practice and persistence pay off.
Our camps are designed for both experienced performers and kids trying theater for the first time. Whether your child loves the spotlight or is just beginning to explore creative expression, Portland Drama Club provides a welcoming, inclusive environment where every student has a place in the show.
