Rose City Vintage Indoor and Outdoor Market Returns This Summer
Mark your calendars! The annual Rose City Vintage Expo returns to the Portland Expo Center on Friday, July 24th, and Saturday, July 25th, for two full days of treasure hunting and exploring one-of-a-kind collections from around the country. Featuring 250+ of the finest curated vintage and antique vendors, this year’s show is co-produced by Jim and Linda Maley, who also produce The Glendale Toy and Advertising Show and the LA Vintage Rendezvous in California. Going forward, the couple will take full ownership and production of this longtime Portland event.
Jim said, “Linda and I are so thrilled to be shepherding this show after over 25 years of participating in it as dealers. We’ve worked very hard sourcing unique vintage dealers from around the Pacific Northwest and beyond.”
This special event introduces shoppers of all ages to a variety of traditional collectables and one-of-a-kind modern vintage pieces. And this year, a collaboration with Clark County’s NW Largest Garage Sale brings a robust outdoor market for even more collectibles to explore. Whether it’s antique dolls or postcards, vintage toys or fashion items, mid-century art, high-end home décor, stunning Native American objects, or militaria pieces, there is truly an eclectic mix that’s just waiting to be discovered.
Some of the Expo’s featured vendor guests include pop culture expert Billy Galaxy, whose Portland-area shop is packed with vintage pop culture icon pieces from Star Wars to Strawberry Shortcake. George Higby, another favorite vendor, is a well-known YouTube personality known as ‘The Antique Nomad’ who is known for finding treasures at estate sales or out-of-the-way flea markets. This is just a fragment of the exceptional curators, collectors, and artists joining this year’s event!
“There’s something for everyone,” Jim shared. You might find a $5 Hot Wheel or a $5,000 Tiffany lamp. Anything like that could be here…and you’ll see things that you won’t find at antique malls. If you love vintage items the way we do, you can’t help but find a treasure at The Rose City Vintage Expo.”
