Leylianna, a student at Stellar Pines Virtual Academy, is already proving that determination, creativity, and curiosity can open doors to a whole new world. As an upcoming author, talented musician, and dedicated Korean language learner, she has found a way to balance academics with her many interests: virtual learning. Now, she has the flexibility she needs to dive into her passion while working toward graduation.   

At Stellar Pines Virtual Academy, students across Oregon, grades K-11, are invited to engage in education in a new way. This unique, tuition-free online school recognizes that each student learns differently and provides self-paced learning with optional live lessons and one-on-one teacher coaching. Engaging Students One by One

Active lessons build applicable skills and help young people understand their talents before applying them to college, a career, or wherever else their dreams lead them. In a recent survey of Stellar parents, 88% said that teacher feedback is helping their child improve, while 90% say that they would recommend the school to another family.  

One 6-12th grade student attests to the flexibility offered and the support that each student receives as they reach specific academic goals.  

They said, “My teachers were always forgiving if I missed a deadline or needed some extra guidance… The program is very laid back, and it really takes the pressure off the students, and that means a lot for kids like me who have a lot going on in their lives. This school gives the students the chance to learn properly while also giving students the ability to have a life. I will be recommending this program to tons of other students in the same situation as I was in.”
