Kelly says, "Braids are always great to add some texture to the hair. This braid was pulled into a side bun to give the side of the hair an artistic accent, which is always something fun to add to your summer look."

Kelly says, "The style of the hair is a Soft Wave, which is quite simple to do and maintain. It is ideal during the rainy Portland Spring. A little bit of dampness in the air will only help add to this look."

So when she approached Shop Talk with the idea of putting together a mini beauty editorial to show off the latest hair and make-up trends for the warmer months we said a big ol’ “Yes!”
