BIG IDEA

For over a year, Portland Bazaar cofounder Greg Hennes has been restoring the Jennings Hotel, transforming the neglected, century-old building in Joseph, Oregon, into a hotel-cum-artist residence. Hennes used his savings and $107,070 he raised on Kickstarter to buy materials. The first room opens this summer, with more coming as soon as he can finish them.
