Newberg's ROCO Winery has plenty to celebrate this week: Wine Spectator's recent 95-point appraisal of the 2010 Private Stash pinot noir, 10 years of winemaking, and a brand new tasting room, which debuts this Thursday.

The new tasting room crowns what has been an illustrious 10 years for owners Rollin Soles and Corby Stonebraker-Soles, who began bottling wine under the ROCO label in 2003. Since then ROCO wines have netted top scores from industry pubs like Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate (in fact Wine Spectator listed ROCO in its Top 100 Wines 2010), and has even been served at the White House. And let's not forget, Portland Monthly tapped it as a top Oregon wine in 2011.

The 2,800-square-foot addition to the winery includes a full kitchen, a private meeting/dining space that houses a 12-foot-long table made from reclaimed wood (reclaimed barn wood and fixtures are use throughout the tasting room), and a picture window into the winery itself. But the pièce de résistance is the tasting bar: a stone bar topped with fused glass slabs that ROCO's Stonebraker-Soles helped design and create with Portland's Bulls Eye Glass Company.

The tasting room will be open Thursday–Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fees run $10. Currently on the tasting menu: ROCO 2009 Willamette Valley Pinot noir, ROCO 2009 Private Stash Pinot noir, ROCO 2010 Marsh Estate Pinot noir, ROCO 2011 Chardonnay, Purple Hands 2011 Stoller Vineyards Pinot noir, and Purple Hands 2009 Oregon Red Blend.
