Stay in Maui for $5 a Night!

Win dream vacations (and the gear you'll use on them) while earning good karma with Passports with Purpose.

By Kasey Cordell December 4, 2012

Ten bucks could net you two nights in Maui. Or Venice. Or Paris. Or Barcelona. Or seven days in Mexico. Plus a new camera to capture the memories and a GPS to guide you on your way.

Those are just a few of the prizes up for grabs through the annual fundraiser Passports with Purpose.

Each year, travel bloggers across the globe work with hotels, gear manufactuers, and other travel industry folks to create a list of more than 100 prizes, which you can win when you donate just $10. Last year, the fundraiser—which was initiated five years ago by Seattlites—raised $90,000 to build two libraries in Zambia through Room to Read.

This year, the money will go to building wells in Haiti with Water.org. Passports with Purpose organizers aim to raise $100,000, enough to build five wells.

How it works: Visit passportswithpurpose.org between now and Dec. 11. For each prize you're interested in winning, donate $10. (Winners will be randomly selected Dec. 18 and notified by e-mail.)

Now soak up your warm and fuzzy feeling.
