Downtown's trendy Ace Hotel has announced the opening of the Ace Hotel London Shoreditch. With locations in Palm Springs, New York, and Seattle (and another planned in LA later this year), the foray into London will be the chain's first overseas.

Fittingly, the new hotel will be located in Shoreditch, a former industrial neighborhood in East London known for its bars, restaurants, creatives, and general cool.

According to the press release, the 265-room hotel will feature a restaurant from David Waddington and Pablo Flack of London's Bistrotheque. As in its other locations, Ace will continue the product collaborations it is known for, offering in-room amenities exclusive to the hotel—including a partnership with A.P.C., who have designed a custom quilt for the guestrooms.

"Ace Hotel London Shoreditch marks our first expansion into Europe,” says Alex Calderwood, Ace's co-founder. “We envision Ace London appealing to active participants in the creative arts and new media industries as well as the culturally curious business and leisure traveler.”

The hotel will not open later this year, but you can make reservations here
