Nirvana: Live in Portland
The immortal (in our book) Sub Pop records will be commemorating the 20th anniversary (holy hell!) of Nirvana’s debut album, "Bleach" in November with a special expanded CD re-release. Yes, you say, Seattle is just up the road a piece…but what does this have to do with Portland.
I’ll tell you…
Besides the 48-page booklet, this new version of the record will include an unreleased live recording of a complete February 9th, 1990 show at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon. The show features performances of “Love Buzz,” “About a Girl” and a cover of The Vaselines’ song “Molly’s Lips” and has been re-mixed from the original tapes by Jack Endino.
Official release date is November 3. Should be awesome.
