Over the last decade and a half, what began as a humble New York City–based non-profit with a passion for telling true stories has grown into the world's most illustrious storytelling event, with a weekly podcast, a public radio show, and a best-selling book, The Moth: 50 True Stories, to boot

The illustrious series is returning to Portland, and we have a pair of tickets. The December stop features host Adam Gopnik, a frequent storyteller and longtime staff writer at The New Yorker. Gopnik even penned the preface to the The Moth: 50 True Stories.

Along with Gopnik, the Moth welcomes five storytellers to the stage: nonfiction writer and grandson of Harry S. Truman, Clifton Truman Daniel; singer-songwriter Kimya Dawson of the Moldy Peaches; stand-up comedian Taylor Negron, and Portland's own Vin Shambry.
