Damian Lillard Releases Debut Album Featuring Lil Wayne and Jamie Foxx

Heads up, Dame D.O.L.L.A. fans: The Portland Trail Blazer’s first full-length album drops tonight, October 20.
Dame D.O.L.L.A., the musical moniker for Blazers point guard Damian Lillard, has been steadily releasing singles since July 2015. Now, Lillard has announced a new, full-length hip-hop record, releasing on Thursday, October 20, at 9 p.m. The Letter O will feature Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, Raphael Saadiq, and English singer and Grammy nominee Marsha Ambrosius.
Lillard’s musical interests have been clear since back in 2013, when he started #4BarFriday on Instagram, inviting people to record their best verses in 15 seconds or less, often offering his own examples. He announced the new album to his 2.8 million Instagram followers on Thursday, October 20, saying it will be available on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify starting at 9 p.m. PDT.
“This thing slaps,” he added. “Can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”
