The historic Timberline Lodge plays host to this year’s Wild About Game.

Wild About Game—Oregon’s annual weekend full of game meats, competition, and truly wild parties—is back for its twelfth year with a new location and exciting lineup of fresh culinary competitors.

On Sunday, September 9th, Nicky USA’s 12th annual Wild About Game will be taking over the storied TImberline Lodge for a full day of culinary demos from Greg Denton and Anthony Cafiero, cookbook signings, and memorable tastings chock full of Oregon’s best wild boar, rabbit, pheasant, elk, squab, quail, venison, and more. Attendees will also sample wines, beers, spirits, and artisan food products from around the Northwest all afternoon—with plenty of celebrity chef sightings mixed in.

Chef Competition: The highlight of the Wild About Game event is the chef cook-off, where each chef uses a Nicky USA-sourced ingredient to whip up a culinary masterpiece at lightning speed. This year, the Wild About Game team is shaking things up a bit with a friendly Portland vs. Seattle Competition, with top PDX knife slingers pitted against the best chefs from up north.

The all-star lineup will include Gregory Gourdet of Departure vs. Nathan Lockwood of Altura, Jenn Louis of Lincoln vs. Cormac Mahoney of Madison Park Conservancy, Chris Israel of Gruner vs. Johnathan Sundstrom of Lark, and Chris Carriker of the Gilt Club vs. Carrie Mashaney of Spinasse.

Tickets to the all-day bash are $50, and you can purchase them here.
