Morso Unveils Cocktail Program

While the Pearl District crowd has reveled in the return of former Bluehour chef *Kenny Giambalvo* to the neighborhood--and has delighted in his fresh spins on classic Italian trattoria fare--one element of *Morso's* urban-chic service has flown under the radar since the space opened in May of this year.
In true Italian style, the team behind Morso--including Giambalvo and co-owners Bob Lightman (who founded Mio Gelato) and Ryan Finley (the creator of SurveyMonkey)--offers a *nightly aperitivo special, dishing up a plate of fresh, free nosh with any drink purchase.*
Until now, Morso's drink selection was limited to great deals on microbrews and a well-curated wine list, but this week Morso is rolling out a new house cocktail collection focusing on bar classics.
The drink list--which will rotate with the seasons--includes a Negroni, a Margarita made with fresh citrus, a Manhattan with Maker's Mark and Cocchi original Torino vermouth, and the Morso Mule, a twist on the Moscow mule enhanced with Fever Tree ginger beer and local Decco Spiced rum. In a truly bold move, Morso is bringing back the Cosmo, swapping the super sweet variety for their toned-down, sophisticated take.
The New Deal: Every night from 5 to 7 pm, happy hour diners will receive a complimentary small plate--think fresh tomato bruschetta, flavorful charcuterie, or creamy white bean spread and house-baked bread--with every beer, wine, or cocktail purchase. For maximum bang for your buck, happy hour drink specials include a $3 beer option, $6 red or white wine picks, and a $6 cocktail of the day. It's the perfect opportunity for a pre-dinner sip and snack, a true urban tradition powered by one of our favorite casual eateries of the year. Cin cin!
