PDX Aqua Plate Specials

Oregon restaurants and markets are doing their part to help diners choose sustainable local seafood, one plate at a time.

Now through the end of December, stop by your favorite restaurants and grocery stores and look for the Aqua Plate Special logo, pointing the way to seafood choices that protect our local estuaries and wildlife.

According to The Wetlands Conservancy, the health of Oregon's estuaries is essential to our state's iconic seafood industries, from Dungeness crab to Chinook salmon (Oregon oysters, too!).

The annual Aqua Plate Special campaign aims to help diners choose seasonal, sustainable dishes—like wood-fired Yaquina Bay Oysters topped with pancetta, honey, walnuts, cumin, coriander, garlic, and breadcrumbs—and support wetlands conservation over dinner at each of these participating businesses:
