Anne Amie Wine Pairing Dinner at Riffle NW
What: A five-course wine pairing dinner celebrating the release of the 2012 white wines from Anne Amie Vineyards. Dishes will include a traditional caviar service, seared scallops with shaved apple and fennel, crispy gnochetti with spot prawns, and venison loin wrapped in spiced filo.

Yappy Hour at the SE Wine Collective (Postponed)
What: The SE Wine Collective's second dog-friendly "Yappy Hour" brings back food and drink specials alongside a pup-safe fenced area outside the Collective. This family-friendly event will kick off a once-a-month series of Yappy Hours at the SE Division urban winery.
When: Thursday, April 4 Thursday, April 11 from 5 to 7 pm (postponed due to rain)
Where: SE Wine Collective, 2425 SE 35th Place
How Much: $2 off glass pours and small bites.
Beer Camp at Sunshine Tavern
What: An evening of hands-on beer education featuring Hood River’s Pfriem Family Brewers. Join brewmaster Josh Pfriem for an exploration of his favorite brews, then settle in for a cozy meal complete with beer pairings and a good buzz.
When: Saturday, April 6 at 4 pm

SE PDX Culinary Tour with Dishcrawl Portland
What: A progressive dinner tour through inner Southeast Portland, featuring dishes at four under-wraps restaurants, rain or shine. Diners will be notified of the first meeting location two days before the event. For hints of the eating tour's locations, follow Dischcrawl on Twitter at @DishcrawlPDX.
When: Wednesday, April 17 at 7 pm

Beautiful Beans Event at Ecotrust
What:An educational evening from the Portland Culinary Alliance featuring a panel of bean enthusiasts (Hannah Kullberg, Carol Boutard, Katherine Deumling and Dr. Samantha Brody) who will share experiences growing, cooking, and storing dry beans in Oregon. Guests will also enjoy an Ayers Creek Farm heirloom bean tasting and display and Borlotti Bean Bruschetta prepared by the chefs of Ava Gene's.
When: Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Where: Ecotrust Building 721 NW 9th Ave, Suite 200
How Much: PCA Members $10; non-PCA members $15. A no-host bar with beer and wine will be available. Tickets can be purchased on the PCA website.
Red Ridge Farms Olive Oil Pastry Class
What: An afternoon baking class in wine country featuring guest pastry chef Michelle Vernier of Paley's Place, Imperial, and Portland Penny Diner. Guests will learn several techniques for incorporating olive oil into everyday baking and pastry preparations, including salt and pepper focaccia, spring vegetable and goat cheese tart with lemon olive oil crust, olive oil cake with honey plumped apricots, Arbequina olive oil gelato with roasted rhubarb, and blood orange olive oil truffles
When: Sunday, April 28 from 1 to 3 pm
How Much: $75 per person including cooking demonstration, tastes of the full menu, olive oil samples, and a glass of Durant Vineyards wine. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Red Ridge Farms at 503-864-8502 or emailing [email protected].
