Celebration of Normandy D-Day with Chefs Philippe Boulot and Dominique Geulin

What: The French forces behind the Multnomah Athletic Club and St. Honoré Boulangerie combine to honor the historic World War II event. The four-course dinner will feature dishes from Normandy like potato cheese crêpe with spring salad and Normandy apple pie.
When: Thursday, June 6 at 6 pm.
Where: Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC), 1849 SW Salmon St.
How Much: $55 per person plus gratuity. Reservations can be made by calling 503-517-6601.

The 2nd Annual Rye Beer Fest

What: Celebrate the revival of rye beers at this rye-teous event complete with live music, rye whiskey cocktails and 20 rye beers on tap. All proceeds from the sale of the fest’s two special collaboration beers – 10  Barrel Brewing’s Rude Boy Rye and Hopwork’s Fight for Your Rye’t – will be donated to the Children’s Cancer Association.
When: Friday, June 7 from 4 pm to 2 am.
Where: EastBurn, 1800 E. Burnside
How Much: Free entry and live music. Featured beers available for purchase.

Jacobsen Salt Co. Dinner Series Kickoff with Clyde Common & Breakside Brewery

What: Join Clyde Common Executive Chef Chris DiMinno and Breakside Brewing at Jacobsen Salt Co.’s inaugural dinner series event at their new production facility in Tillamook. Menu details are still under wraps but expect delicious food and brews with sunset bay views.  
When: Saturday, June 8 at 5:30 pm.
Where: Jacobsen Salt Co., 9810 Whiskey Creek Rd Tillamook, OR 
How Much: $100 per person includes four courses and beer pairings from Breakside Brewing. Tickets available via Eventbrite.

‘Summer Wednesday Nights with Ken’ Series Kickoff with Kenny & Zukes

What: It’s not quite summer yet but Kenny & Zukes owner Ken Gordon plans to show off his grill skills prematurely with barbeque for the first dinner of his “Summer Wednesday Nights with Ken” series. Expect ribs, pulled pork, brisket and all the fixings.
When: Wednesday, June 12 at 5:30 pm.  
Where: Kenny & Zuke’s Deli Bar, 3901 N. Williams Ave.
How Much: $42.50 gets you grub and Sangria ($34.50 without alcohol). Kids under 12 can join for $21.75. Reservations can be made by calling 503-222-3354. 

Portland Beer and Cheese Fest

What: Portland Beer Week brings back its annual Beer and Cheese Fest hosted by The Commons Brewery. Celebrate ales, alts and asiago with cheese pairings from Cheese Monger Steve Jones and brews from Double Mountain, Block 15, Solera et al.
When: Sunday, June 16 from 1 to 5 pm.
Where: The Commons Brewery, 1810 SE 10th Ave. 
How Much: Tickets are $32 and include a tasting glass, 10 craft beer and cheese pairings, and snacks from CHOP Butchery. Tickets must be purchased in advance via Stranger Tickets.

Coquine PDX Pop Up Dinner

What: One of Portland’s favorite supper clubs returns to a new space for three dates starting next week. Join former Davis St. Tavern chef Katy Millard as she serves up a four-course prix fixe dinner inspired by both the season and the source.
When: Sunday, June 16 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm.
Where: Sauvage, 537 SE Ash St. #102
How Much: $40 per person with option wine pairings ($20). For reservations, email [email protected] with arrival time and party size.

Evening Lands Winemaker Dinner at Paulée

What: Paulée honors the arrival of the Evenings Lands Vineyards tasting room next door with a six-course pairing dinner with winemaker Isabelle Meunier. Chef Temple’s menu plays with wine friendly fruits and spices like figs, peaches, tarragon and pink peppercorn.
When: Thursday, June 20 at 6 pm.
Where: Paulée Restaurant, 1410 N Highway 99W, Dundee, OR
How Much: $125 per person including wine pairings. Reservations can be made by calling 503-538-7970.
