Identifying Fish Basics Slow Food Seminar
What: An educational "School of Fish" panel discussion exploring seafood sourcing, labeling, advocacy, and other current concerns. Water Ave. Coffee Brunch at Wildwood
What: The coffee masters of Water Ave will showcase their single origin beans (plus a special PB&J blend the roaster makes for Wildwood). Dishes are set to include strawberry jam coffee cake with Nutella and cocoa nib whipped cream, goat cheese and house chorizo frittatas, and grilled pork chops with coffee puree and honey roasted rhubarb, each with specialty coffee pairings.

What: A new slice star has hit the unlikely constellation of 82nd Drive, powered by Neapolitan pizzas, fresh house made pastas, and farmer’s market salads. Get to know the new eatery with Pronto Pizza and Breakside Brewery's collaborative pairing dinner, featuring Northwest-inspired Italian fare like veal, pork, and beef meatballs, polenta fries, panzanella packed with cucumber, early girl and sun gold tomatoes, fresh basil, and pickled onion, housemade fettucini with porcini mushrooms and housemade ricotta, a pizza bar with seasonal and signature pizzas, plus fresh-baked ice cream cookie sandwiches.

Firehouse Beer Pairing Dinner with The Commons Brewery
What: A five-course dinner showcasing The Commons' farmhouse-style brews with a menu inspired by French and Italian farmhouse fare. Dishes will include tomato braised octopus and aioli with hearth baked pugliese, pizza bianca with squash blossoms and sheep milk ricotta, and grilled hanger steak with hand cut fries and anchovy butter.

My Oregon Summer: Besaw’s Farm to Table Dinner at Whole Foods
What: Besaw’s Executive Chef Michael Uhnak will partner with Whole Foods Market for a four-course farm to table dinner featuring seared scallops over pickled beets and braised kale and stuffed flank steak with sweet potato purée and asparagus.
