It’s an event for the foodie history books. On Saturday, November 2, Park Kitchen will celebrate ten years of cooking, eating, shaking, stirring, and drinking with a high-octane birthday bash. The celebration will center on a seven-course meal prepared by a dozen of PK’s most successful alumni.

“Park Kitchen turned into a restaurant that has served as a lightning rod for culinary talent over the past ten years,” said Scott Dolich, Park Kitchen’s owner and James Beard Award-nominated chef. “Everyone cooking, bartending, and serving that night will have contributed to making Park Kitchen a fantastic restaurant. That needs to be celebrated. How could we NOT celebrate?”

Indeed, the line-up for the anniversary dinner reads like a who’s-who list of the Portland food world. Participating chefs include David Padberg of Raven and Rose, William Preish of Holdfast Dining, Ryan Mead of the Bent Brick, John Stewart of Meat Cheese Bread, Steve Jones of Cheese Bar, Kevin Atchley of Pine State Biscuits, David Briggs of Xocolatl de David, and Ashley Bisagna of Feastworks. After each course, these kitchen all-stars will provide the evening’s entertainment by roasting Dolish in spectacular fashion.

Several of Park Kitchen’s favorite wineries—including Argyle, Eyrie, Crowley, Boedecker, and Chehalem—will be pouring their best with each course. Looking for stronger stuff? Former PK bartenders Kevin Ludwig, Adam Robinson, Nate Smith, and Mary Bartlett will be on hand to mix masterpiece cocktails.

In classic Park Kitchen style, guests will be seated in “cozy elegance” in close proximity to their neighbors. Seats are $225 all inclusive, and proceeds from the night’s festivities will be donated to Chapman Elementary.  Call 503-223-7275 to make reservations.
