Summer can wait, at least for the fans of Lake Oswego's solid barbecue joint Pine Shed Ribs. Thanks to the debut of Piglet Pint & Pastry, the new bar, bakery counter, and dining room a few doors down from the Pine Shed's savory smokers and signature wooden takeout shack, some of the best BBQ in the metro area is now available for comfortable dine-in noshing year-round. The just-opened bar and dining room is nestled in an unassuming Lake Oswego strip mall, but the interior is pure Portland: think wooden beams and wood-clad bar boasting reclaimed lumber from the Rebuilding Center, industrial lighting and barstools, and a cozy wood stove that keeps the space warm during even the nastiest of drizzles.
