Sure—complain about Trader Joe's's parking lots all you want, but where else are you going to get Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend, peanut butter-filled pretzels, Two Buck Chuck wine (alas, these days Three Buck Chuck) frozen cauliflower gnocchi, and cookie butter all in one sitting? And sure—there are already three in Portland (and five additional stores in Vancouver, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Clackamas), but we say the more the merrier. According to the Portland Business Journal, the independent chain announced plans for a new location in Portland, though it's unclear where or when it will open.

Though little is known about the proposed new location, it's got our staff here at Portland Monthly talking, joking, and sharing old Simpsons clips. Here are our predictions on where the new Trader Joe's will be.

Conner Reed, Arts Editor:

"At PDX for when u need a quick bag of frozen cauliflower gnocchi on the flight!"
Mike Novak, Art Director:
"Top of Big Pink."
Julia Silverman, News Editor:
"I don't care for Trader Joe's."
Gabriel Granillo, Digital Editor:
"Inside the Fred Meyer on Burnside."
Eden Dawn, Fashion Editor:
"At the empty QFC off Broadway!! Grocery store sitting empty. Give us the TJ palak paneer already."
Margaret Seiler, Managing Editor:
"In one of the many empty storefronts in St. Johns? In the vacated Rite Aid or Farmers Barn in Arbor Lodge? In Piedmont or Woodlawn, which have a low walk score despite being pretty park-rich and well-served by transit?"
Marty Patail, Editor in Chief:
"On a barge in the Willamette, right next to the James Beard Public Market, at the max dive depth of the OMSI submarine."
Where do you think they should put the top-secret new Trader Joe's?
