This year more than ever, you're probably feeling a little tired of your own cooking—and celebrations will likely be much more scaled down than usual. Thankfully, these Portland restaurants, markets, and food carts have you covered this Thanksgiving with delivery and takeout options. Act quickly if you're interested, because turkey is selling out fast.

Andina

Since we can't travel, how about a takeout Peruvian Thanksgiving this year? The four course dinner includes a winter salad with Mizuna Farms lettuce, quinoa, watermelon radish, and spiced pepitas, plus a main course of turkey breast poached in cilantro-beer sauce. Bushel & Peck Bakeshop—soon to be known as St. Beatrix this January—is offering a fun, quirky takeout Thanksgiving menu in collaboration with The Skinny Chef PDX that includes bacon-fat fried duck legs, turkey and biscuit stuffing croissants, honey ham and cheese cornbread fritters, a maple bourbon tart, coffee honey salted pie, and more. Order a la carte or choose the Make it Easy Package ($75) that includes a main, three sides, and a pack of cookies or half a pie. A full Thanksgiving dinner feast from Dóttir

This Icelandic-inspired restaurant at Kex Hotel goes all-American for Thanksgiving, when they’ll be serving a four-person take-home dinner for $120, available to order online for pickup on Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25. The meal includes a smoked turkey breast and confit leg, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, chicory salad, cranberry sauce, and turkey jus, with vegan and vegetarian options available. Higgins/Piggins

 

It's not too late to order a takeout Thanksgiving Feast Box, which feeds four for $250 and includes a charcuterie board, soup, salad, main, and dessert. Piggins, the more casual, patio-dining and takeout spinoff of Higgins that opened this summer, will also be open Wednesday through Saturday for takeout; check out the menu here. Holy Trinity Barbecue 

 

This food cart, known for having some of the best Texas-style barbecue in Portland, still has a few large smoked turkey breasts—smoked for four hours—remaining for pickup on Thanksgiving Day. Huber’s 

 

Portland’s oldest restaurant, open since 1879 and famous for its roast turkey and flaming Spanish coffee, is offering turkey dinner packages for pickup on Wednesday, November 25. The package feeds up to 10 people (or fewer, with lots of leftovers!) and includes a whole roasted turkey, sides, a loaf of beer bread, and a pumpkin pie. 411 SW 3rd Ave 

Kachka

 

A complete takeout-only Thanksgiving feast at Kachka includes turkey ballotine—deboned, skin-on turkey breasts that are brined and formed into a roulade, wrapped around housemade turkey sausage and poached in apple kvass. Sides include Black Futsu pumpkin dolmas, sweet potato babka casserole, klyukva sauce (an Eastern European cousin of the cranberry), and Ukrainian pull-apart bread. Laurelhurst Market 

 

For a semi-homemade Thanksgiving, Laurelhurst Market is selling whole turkeys and turkey parts, plus roasting essentials like brining kits, twine, and digital thermometers. Sides are heat-at-home, including mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and Brussels sprouts, plus foie gras and rabbit pâté for your charcuterie plate. Lokanta

Clinton Street's new Turkish restaurant will offer large mezze dishes that feed 4-6, ideal for the Thanksgiving table, including muhammara, fava bean pate, tarator (beet and yogurt dip), dolmas; sarma ici (cracked wheat salad), and börülce salatasi (black-eyed pea salad). Magna Kusina

Filipino restaurant Magna Kusina is offering plenty of Filipino-inflected sides to round out your Thanksgiving table, including an ensalada of roasted Brussels sprouts with salted egg vinaigrette, potato ginataan gratin with coconut milk and garlic, crab fat fried rice with whole Dungeness crab, green beans with wild mushroom adobo gravy, and stuffing made with pandesal and longanisa. Plus, chef Carlo Lamagna is churning out some delicious-sounding treats—in fact, Magna Kusina's bakery was one of PoMo's picks for Best Restaurants 2020—including biko (coconut sticky rice with condensed coconut milk and toasted coconut), Basque-style pandan cheesecake, banana turon cream pie with a graham cracker crust, and sweet potato pie with ube meringue. Enjoy a Spanish-themed Thanksgiving with chef Jose Chesa, who's offering a $125 take-home Thanksgiving dinner for two. Dinner includes herb-roasted turkey breast, confit turkey leg, roasted turkey croquetas with cranberry aioli, mashed potatoes, glass bread, turkey demi-glace, and chard with Jamón Ibérico. Pacific Pie Co is offering family-sized savory pies, including turkey, chicken, beef and mushroom, lamb, and vegan shepherd’s pies, plus sides of cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, and garlic green beans. And of course, they’ve got you covered when it comes to dessert pies, ranging from pumpkin ginger streusel to apple sour cream streusel. Paley’s Place

 

After a tumultuous autumn that involved the closing of several of his restaurants including Imperial, Portland restaurateur and culinary icon Vitaly Paley is back in the kitchen at Paley’s Place, the 25-year-old restaurant in a Victorian home where his career skyrocketed. The weekly Paley’s Place Neighborhood Boxes, filled with pantry items, cheese, and housemade foods including charcuterie, will be getting a special Thanksgiving theme, available for purchase starting Thursday, November 12, for pick-up on Saturday, November 21. 1204 NW 21st Ave

Celebrate Turkey Day with duck—Chinese eight-spice honey roast duck with jus, to be exact. The menu also includes Brussels sprouts casserole, scalloped potatoes, root vegetable and squash gratin, chicories, focaccia stuffing, house focaccia, a whole pecan pie, and take-and-bake cookies made with oats, dried cherries, and orange. The dinner, available through Tock, is $49 per person, served in increments of two, or order items a la carte.
