What would be a better way to spend a hot summer day in Portland than a free Zumba class in Laurelhurst Park? Portland’s Park and Recreation presents Fitness in the Park, a 12-week FREE exercise program featuring a dozen different class options in various parks around Portland.
From now through September 4, Portlanders can participate in classes that range from a boot camp at Council Crest Park to line dancing in Holladay Park. Folks of all ages and abilities are welcome. “Just Kids” classes, which are offered at Alberta, Lents, Holly Farm, McCoy, and Ventura parks, even give your little ones the chance to stay active over the summer.
Did we mention that every class is free?! To join the fun, you'll need to sign up for a wristband that allows you to participate all summer long. Register here and get ready to discover your new favorite form of fitness!
