This winter, contemporary dance-illusionist troupe MOMIX presents Botanica, a fantastical floral dance/illusion extravaganza featuring the work of Portland puppet/costume designer Michael Curry. Described as “a dreamlike journey through the four seasons,” Botanica will give any winter blues-afflicted Portlander an escapist jolt of colorful, fantastical costumes, clever props, playful visual illusion and, of course, dazzling dancing.

Members of the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon receive 20% off tickets for any Botanica show that weekend. HPSO members are invited to attend the Saturday, March 2, 2013 evening performance, as this will be HPSO night, with a table and membership information to educate the public about the benefits of the HPSO and encourage membership in this rockin' organization.
