This spring, local photographer (and frequent Portland Monthly contributor) Stuart Mullenberg launched The Flight Record, a lifestyle magazine dedicated to the sport’s nascent culture. He hopes its photos (like this one of world champion Catrina Allen from the inaugural issue) will demonstrate the athleticism of the game and bring the respect he says the sport deserves. Says Mullenberg: “It’s not just a bunch of hippies throwing Frisbees at trees!”
