Saturday night Rio Wrenn, the creative genius/metal scavenger behind the R.A.W. clothing line, showed her “Pre-Soiled Couture” collection at Disjecta in NoPo. The line is aptly named for her organic process in treating fabric by hunting down scrap metal in interesting shapes and watering it to rust her designs to life. I give her a big ol’ "A" for creativity, but I’d also be very interested to see how she could translate these avant-garde looks into a ready to wear line. I’d sport some rusted leggings in a heart beat. Please Rio?
