Iridio Benefit

A benefit fundraiser for a worthy cause.

One of the best things about Portland is when the chips are down you can actually count on your community. In this case, I am speaking about Iridio Photo Studio. Their head of the set shop, Jerry Short, was recently diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor and given 12-18 months to live. Short’s wife is taking the next six months off and his colleagues are trying to raise some money to help them enjoy these last moments together.

The studio put together a benefit bash including Project Runway winner Seth Aaron to M.C, a silent auction, live music and a big ol’ BBQ. The event is open and encouraged to the public to come and celebrate life while helping out your neighbor. If you are unable to attend, the studio is accepting donations on Short’s behalf.
