In a more perfect pairing than wine and chocolate or PBR and hipsters, Chanel’s spring runway collections features models sashaying to songs by local band The Chromatics.

That means Lagerfeld made a series of good decisions, including featuring the cool synthpop sounds of our fellow Portlanders, using a solar powered runway, and throwing big ol’ baubles on the models.
