After a two-year hiatus fashion designer and artist Emily Katz, returns to the local runway with a collection of gallery art and a fashion show entitled “In the Flower Months." The capsule collection show is comprised of garments made from organic textiles featuring embroidery, hand drawn textile patterns, and gemstone beading that are inspired by the dream poems of Jeevan Singh.

"Staying in line with past collections’ ethos,” Katz says, “I am exploring garments that cross over between awake and asleep. The collection asks the viewer to step out of themselves, exposed, but also protected and comforted.” Garments will be available for purchase following the event – as well as included on display at Breeze Block Gallery for the remainder of November.
