Astral Bodies Lingerie Fashion Show

Local boutique Lille hosts a night of fundraising and fashion including the debut of Fortnight Lingerie's new collection.

While the age-old debate between whether women wear lingerie for themselves or their partners wages on, we say, who cares? Pretty lacy things deserve attention, and even more than that, a well-fit bra deserves a round of applause.

Next Wednesday, December 12, lovely local lingerie boutique, Lille, celebrates the holidays in style with a Planned Parenthood benefit at Holocene nightclub.  The evening begins with a pre-cocktail hour with New Deal Distillery donating complimentary drinks, catering by Luce, and cupcakes from Cupcake Jones. The night culminates in a fashion show launching Fortnight Lingerie's latest collection, Asteria 2013, inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey featuring luxurious and modern underthings.

Here’s the good news our dear PoMo readers: While this sure-to-be-amazing show instantly sold out, Lille owner Sarah Wizemann, has graciously set aside 15 tickets for you Shop Talk folk. Act quickly to purchase a general admission ticket to the sold out show for just $5 by entering code LASTCHANCEPDX (UPDATE: Those 15 sold out fast! You can add your name to the waitlist or come to the free after party for all the fashion fun.). In further good news, the free after-party does not require a ticket, so all are welcome to attend for a chance to win over $1000 in donated raffle prizes, including gift certificates to Lille Boutique, lingerie from Fortnight, Maison Close, Only Hearts, Unforeseen Circumstances, The Lake and Stars, Huit, and many others.

We know what you’re wondering. Yes, you can buy fancy lingerie for yourself right before Christmas.
