FashioNXT returns this week. The Pearl area tents are currently popped, soon to be bursting at the seams with designers, dresses, and models. We've already given our Editor's Picks on each night, but now let's talk about teacher's pet.

The Emerging Designer competition is a night full of young, curated talent. Translation: this isn't anybody hot gluing together a craft project let on the runway, but a handful of designers who passed through the judging panel gauntlet with sketches, business plans, and craftsmanship skills to earn a spot in the competition. Who will be crowned the winner of a sweet prize package is up to both us (the judging panel), and US (the audience vote).
