New LaCrosse Boot Lines Bring Sass to the Season

The Portland-based company's new women's boot collection puts the "fun" in functional rain gear.

Inspired by the original LaCrosse industrial boot, the Hixon comes in two heights. Fleece-lined with hand-crafted rubber over 4 mm neoprene, the Hixon ensures dry, warm (and chic) feet. $120 for 12-inch Hixon, $150 for 15-inch.

For 115 years, LaCrosse Footwear has been helping adventurers keep their feet dry and comfortable, through forest, stream, mud, and muck ... and now street.

Just in time for liquid sunshine season, the Portland-based brand has released three new familes of women's boots for those wet winter weekends (OK, and maybe your daily wait at the bus stop).

Prada they're not, but LaCrosse's new lines combine fun details with performance materials like premium rubber and Thinsulate insulation to deliver boots that are both pretty cute and pretty practical. So while they may not make an appearance in our Shop Talk blog's style pages, they'll definitely make it into our suitcase for our next Mount Hood adventure.
