Skamania Lodge's "Winter Dinner Getaway" (from $159) nets you a night and $60 in credit at the Cascade Dining room.

Eugene's swank Inn at the 5th celebrates romance and its first anniversary with packages (from $179) featuring everything from a complimentary bottle of champagne to chocolates and gift certificates for lingerie.

Cannon Beach's Surfsand Hotel celebrates love with a "Romancing the Soul" package (from $179), which includes chocolate-covered strawberries, pink champagne, a red rose, candles, and bath fizz for your oversize tub.

Columbia Cliff Villas offers $25 toward a bottle of local wine with your booking (from $199).

The San Juan's Friday Harbor House has lavish romance plans of its own with an eight-course meal, local wine pairings, a dozen roses, handmade chocolate truffles, a bottle of bubbly, and a gift basket from Pelindaba Lavender Farm, starting at $249.

Alderbrook Resort, on the Hood Canal, wants to help your Valentine relax into romance with its "Unwind My Valentine" package (from $309), which includes wine, roses, a $100 spa credit, and a $70 dining room credit.
