Unfamiliar with the wineries of Oregon's Eola-Amity Hills AVA? Labor Day Weekend's Encompass 2013 would like to change that.

On August 31 and September 1, twenty top vineyards and wineries in the Eola-Amity Hills will offer free tastings to anyone with an Encompass Guidebook. Each guidebook, now available online, includes free tasting flights at all twenty locations, $10 gift certificates to spend at top food carts (who will truck out to wine country for the weekend), and exclusive access to private vineyards and wineries.

Participating vineyards and wineries include Amity Vineyards, Antica Terra, Bethel Heights, Brooks, Cristom Vineyards, St. Innocent, Walter Scott Wines, and many, many more. Sound like a lot to swallow? Fear not, you won't be sipping on an empty stomach: six terrific food carts—including Portland’s Bunk Sandwiches, Olympic Provisions' mobile outpost, and the Whole Bowl—will be serving up hot meals to hungry oenophiles via $10 vouchers included in the guidebook.
