Canopy by Hilton Launches in the Pearl. Hilton Worldwide's newest brand, descibed as "accessible lifestyle" and designed as a "natural extension of its neighborhood," will open its first location in 2015 in the Pearl District. Details:

Sleater-Kinney's Album and Tour The iconic trio announced 21 tour dates from Washington to Ireland. Portland is not currently on the roster, although Sleater-Kinney's Twitter assured that additional tour dates will be released soon. Details:
