Win Tickets: Robin Williams and David Steinberg

Two comic giants appear for a night of 'sit down,' with Steinberg interviewing Williams. Everything's game. Jan 11

By Aaron Scott December 27, 2012

Robin Williams is a hard one to pin down. A hurricane of humor, his stand up shows are bombastic barrages of one-liners and impressions. Which is why the format for this evening of "sit down" is rather intriguing. The great Canadian comic/actor/author/director David Steinberg, whose credits included everything from directing Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld to appearing on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson 130 times (second only to Bob Hope), will interview Williams about his life, career, politics, and sheer comic insanity. Just two men, on stage, sitting down. (Though we can’t picture Williams sitting still for long).

As the host of Showtime’s Inside Comedy, Steinberg just might have the chops to pin Williams down. But even if he doesn’t, watching the comic melee that ensues will no doubt be hilarious.

This contest is now closed.
