The globetrotting local company will perform two world premieres plus one vintage favorite at the Newmark. March 28–30.

Northwest Dance Projects two Princess Grace Award–winners, Andrea Parson and Franko Nieto, in last fall's 'New Now Wow' performance.

Local choreographer Sarah Slipper and her globetrotting Northwest Dance Project like to work with sharp people. Sharp dancers, specifically. And over the years they’ve wracked up quite a few hotshot young choreographers as friends through their commitment to performing world premiere works. For their spring concert this year, In Good Company: New Works and Vintage Vinyl, the company is calling on a couple of these besties. In addition to a new creation from Slipper, there’ll be a new piece by returning choreographer Patrick Delcroix, who was not only called “the fastest dancer on the planet” by the Los Angeles Times, but also happens to be a French knight. And then the company will pull a vintage favorite by Wen Wei Wang from its closet, because, like all fashionable ensembles, the best style often comes from offsetting the cutting edge with a well-polished treasure or two.

As part of our Spring Arts Guide giveaways, we’re offering a pair of tickets to one lucky winner for a performance of your choosing.

This contest is now over.

This contest closes Monday, March 25 at noon. In Good Company runs March 28–30 at the Newmark Theatre. For ticket info, visit our calendar listing.
