Feel the Bern in Person, at Powell's

Bernie Sanders is Portland-bound, and this time it’s not for your vote. Fresh off the Clinton campaign trail, the one-time contender for the Democratic presidential nomination will stop in at Powell’s City of Books on December 1, touting his new book, Our Revolution: A Future to Believe in, which details his experiences on the campaign trail and sets forth his political agenda for national transformation. (At of the time of writing, the event had already sold out.)
The book, slated for a November 15 release date—exactly one week after we elect our new president—comes out just months after the Vermont Senator launched a non-profit of the same name. The winner of this state's Democratic primary has close ties to the organization and is hoping to build on the groundswell of support he earned in this election cycle.
Meanwhile, he’s en route to Portland, where he already boasts a robust fanbase. Don’t expect to bro down with Bernie, though. The event is strictly a photo-op (can we put another bird on it?), and only if you buy the book.
Tickets available from today, October 17 on Eventbrite.com. (At the time of writing, tickets are already sold out.)
