Carefully add 7.5 ounces of dry white wine to a base of 5.5 ounces of Cynar (an Italian artichoke-based bitter liqueur).

Add 11 ounces of filtered water to the mixture.

Peel one lemon, and…

…carefully squeeze each peel into the mixture to express the oils.

After chilling the mixture overnight, strain out the solids and pour into a carbonator. (Jeffrey’s a big fan of the iSi Twist ’n Sparkle.)

Load a CO2 cartridge and fire up the carbonator.

Assemble your bottles and wait for the carbonator to finish its job. (You’re getting close…)

Carefully pour the mixture into the bottles of your choice.

Cap the bottles using a crown capper.

Label the caps, refrigerate, and drink when ready!
