Just over a year after her lauded flagship location opened on Downtown’s Transit Mall, Kate McMillen’s second Lauretta Jean’s bakery has opened its doors on Southeast Division.

Most recently home to Pix Patisserie (which recently reopened on East Burnside as the new tapas/dessert spot Bar Vivant), the space now features robin's egg blue walls, white wainscoting, a designer espresso machine, quirky posters, and a bakery bar loaded with McMillen's all-butter crust pies and other treats for dine-in and take-out from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week.

Check out my slideshow above for photos and first bites from Lauretta Jean's first day on Southeast Division, as well as more details about new sweet and savory menu items.
