South Park Blocks: The Portland Farmers Market's Winter Market at Shemanski Park debuts this Saturday, January 5th, featuring 40 vendors selling cold-season produce, meats, eggs, cheeses, bread, and more. SW Broadway: The much-anticipated Raven & Rose will officially open in the historic Ladd Carriage House on January 4th. Former Park Kitchen chef David Padberg mans the kitchen (dishing out rustic, comforting dishes like rotisserie chicken, braised short ribs with Yorkshire pudding, and rabbit with creamed kale) while barman Dave Shenaut (most recently of Riffle NW) slings historic cocktails at the restaurant's two bars. Hawthorne: Beginning this week, Pastaworks' Hawthorne restaurant EVOE will be open six days a week, Wednesday through Monday, from noon to 7pm. Current dishes include Gallego sandwich with sardines, pepper and fennel, chicory salad with apple, walnut, and fricco, and cauliflower soup. 3731 SE Hawthorne Boulevard

Dundee: Chef Daniel Mondok has stepped down as executive chef of Paulée, the Dundee restaurant that aimed to push the boundaries of what we consider "wine country cuisine".
