SE Morrison: Up-and-coming restaurateur Earl Ninsom has officially opened the doors to his new Thai market and eatery, Tarad, on the corner of SE 6th and Morrison. In addition to fresh Thai ingredients, Asian pantry staples, and curated cookbooks, Tarad serves small Northern Thai bites from 11am-9:30 pm, and until 3am on Friday and Saturday. Hillsboro: The Single-A baseball Hillsboro Hops has announced a multi-year partnership with Portland's BridgePort Brewing Company. The stadium will feature an official "BridgePort Beer Garden" off of the first base line, and the brewery is developing a limited small batch Hillsboro Hops beer to be poured at the beer garden and BrewPub in Portland. The Hillsboro Hops will make their home debut in their new stadium in Hillsboro on Monday, June 17 against the Eugene Emeralds. Tickets available here4450 NW 229th Ave

Beaverton: Specialty beer store Uptown Market has announced early plans for the first brewery in Beaverton, set to open in July. The new in-house brewery will add craft brews to the other offerings at the popular store, including homebrew supplies, specialty beers and wines, and a full schedule of promotions, tastings, competitions and events.
