AN APPLE A DAY
Help Kickstart Reverend Nat's Cidery
Local cidermaker Nat West is hoping to get a little help from his friends (and friends of friends of friends) to open a new cidery and tap room.

Nat West's plan: Open a new 3,500-square foot cidery and public hard cider-centric tasting room off of NE Broadway on 2nd. In our interview with West in February, the cider fanatic shared hopes for new projects that would come with the larger space, like:
- Cold fermentations in a large walk-in cooler
- Hard cider barrel aging program
- Storage space for 10000+ gallons of apple juice
- New varieties like Revelation Granny Smith, Hibiscus Hymnal with raspberries, and Holy Water-melon, made with fresh watermelon juice, ginger and lime.
The facility has been leased, and increased production is underway, but the Reverend Nat's team wants to open the cidery doors to cider fans looking to try some pints or samplers. To bring the project to the Broadway neighborhood, West is looking to digital crowd-sourcing platform Kickstarter to raise $14,500 for the cidery.
How to help: Head to the cider marker's Kickstarter page for full project details and perks for donating, like invitations to the taproom grand opening party, cider logo glasses, and cidery tours.
