Oregon Craft Beer Month

What: July marks the official start of Oregon Craft Beer Month. Toast to the great taste of our state’s brews at one of many events happening this month including new beer releases, meet the brewer events, tastings, festivals, pairings, tappings and more. Upcoming events include Oysters & Ales II at Riffle NW (July 3), Summer Honey tapping at Rock Bottom Brewery (July 17), and Gigantic Brewing Beermaker Dinner with Restaurant Beck (July 25).

Ham Independence at The Woodsman Market 

What: La Quercia is celebrating life, liberty and the prosciutto of happiness this week with a special tasting event Woodsman Market. Founders Herb and Kathy Eckhouse will be showing off their American pork pride with samples of La Quercia’s domestic Prosciuttos. 
When: Wednesday, July 3 from noon to 3 pm. 
Where: The Woodsman Market, 4529 SE Division St.
How Much: FREE! 

4th of July Street Festival at Bunk Bar

What: Get front row seats for the fireworks at Bunk Bar’s Street Festival this Thursday. Don’t miss the awesome array of daytime entertainment: live music from And And And, Yours, and Blood Beach plus games, prizes, and free American cheese on any sandwich.
When: Thursday, July 4 from noon to 12 am.
Where: Bunk Bar, 1028 SE Water Ave.
How Much: Free. Food and drinks available for purchase.

Wine Tasting in the West End

What: Wine country’s newest collection of tasting rooms in the West End Dundee honors Independence Day with their grand opening. Sample sips from Le Cadeau Vineyard, Evening Land Vineyard and Tertulia Cellars, then buffer the booze with a barbecue lunch at Paulée Restaurant. Complete the package with an overnight stay at the Inn at Red Hills, which is offering lodging specials all weekend.
When: July 5 - 7
Where: West End Dundee, 1326 N. Highway 99W, Dundee

Lardo East First Anniversary Party

What: The popular SE sandwich spot celebrates the first anniversary of its Hawthorne brick-and-mortar with $1 sandwich and drink specials. Employees will show off more than just their sandwich skills: they’ll be playing music, too. Local bands Steak Knife! and Revival (who are also Lardo crew members) will play sets under the tent from 6 to 10 pm. 
When: Saturday, July 6 from 6 pm until 12 am.
Where: Lardo East, 1212 SE Hawthorne Blvd.
How Much: Free with special pricing on food and drinks. 

Celebration of Wine at Skamania Lodge

What: The Gorge getaway spot brings together 12 local wineries as part of its 4th of July weekend celebration. Guests will enjoy sips from the likes of L'Ecole, Gordon Estate, ArborBrook, and Maryhill alongside hors d’oeuvres pairings from Skamania Lodge Executive Chef James Wallace.
When: Saturday, July 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Where: Skamania Lodge, 1131 SW Skamania Lodge Way, Stevenson, WA
How Much: $50 per person or $90 per couple. Tickets can be purchased by calling Skamania Lodge 800-221-7117.

Bastille Day Celebration at St. Honoré Boulangerie

What: Celebrate the French flag at St. Honoré’s Bastille Day bash. Both of their area locations are adding a little oh là là to the celebration with live music and special pastries.
When: Sunday, July 14 from 10 am to 3 pm.  
Where: Both St. Honoré Boulangerie locations: 2335 NW Thurman St. and 315 First Street, Lake Oswego.
How Much: Free. Food and drinks available for purchase

Canines Uncorked Passport and Wine Tour

What: Enjoy day of complimentary wine tastings and dog-friendly activities at 13 local wineries. Each participating winery will host special, creative canine activities like Paws & Paint at David Hill Vineyards & Winery, and Pinot & Pet Talk at Elk Cove Vineyards. Don’t have dog? Apolloni Vineyards will have dogs available for adoption at the winery.
When: Saturday, July 20 from 11 am to 4 pm.
Where: Check out the list of participating wineries on the Oregon Humane Society website.
How Much: $40 for a passport which includes wine tastings and activities at participating wineries. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Oregon Humane Society. Passports can be purchased via the Oregon Human Society website.

El Gallo Taqueria Anniversary Party

What: The SE taqueria truck celebrates four years of business with a classic car cruise-in, food specials, and giveaways. Hot rod holders who drive to event get a free El Gallo Taqueria t-shirt and reserved parking in the food cart lot. 
When: Saturday, July 20 from noon to 7 pm.
Where: El Gallo Taqueria, 4804 SE Woodstock Blvd. 
How Much: Free. Food and drinks available for purchase.
