Here's some news fresh out of the juicer: Early 2015 will see a handful of exciting new additions to Portland's rapidly growing Kure Juice Bar empire. Owner Nate Higgins tells The Balance that the green smoothie peddlers' third local location will open in the Cargo building on Monday, February 2 off of SE Water Avenue at 77 SE Yamhill Street, but that's not all.

Once the new juice bar gets squeezing, Higgins will launch a new line of medicinal tonic herb shots, and beginning in March the company will debut a housemade line of raw, vegan, and organic grab-and-go food, including Mac & Cheez and, according to Higgins, "some other seriously good quick eats." Come April, Kure's fourth juice bar, complete with more seating, will open its doors in the West End on SW 12th and Stark (next to the upcoming second location of Bamboo Izakaya).

Can't wait until then? You can download the new Kure mobile ordering and pay-ahead app right now so your coconut-powered Extra Mile smoothie will be waiting for you, instead of the other way around.
